Margaret Hickey, Janice Ludvik, Mary Kay Meagher, Celeste Wobeter

The Omaha Province is part of an international congregation headquartered in the Czech Republic with members located in Germany, Slovakia, the United States and the Czech Republic.

Leadership for each group is composed of a president and three councilors who serve for a four-year term. They are chosen by the sisters of their province through a discernment process.

Sr. Celeste Wobeter is currently serving as president in her second term of office. She is a native of Toledo, Iowa. Her past ministries have included teaching on the elementary and secondary levels, formation of new members, pastoral ministry at parishes and hospitals in the area.

Sr. Margaret Hickey is full time on the leadership team for the Omaha province and part-time on the international leadership team. For the latter she travels to Europe at least once a year. Sr. Margaret is a former teacher of English and Religion on the elementary and secondary levels. Along with her leadership duties, she is also a spiritual director.

Sr. Jan Ludvik serves part-time on the leadership team and part-time as chaplain with St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Lincoln. Prior to these ministries, Sr. Jan served as a teacher on the elementary level, facilitator of religious formation for children and adults and pastoral minister in various parishes. She has directed a number of retreats as well.

Sr. Mary Kay Meagher is a nurse practitioner with One World Community Health Center in their new developing program of School-Based Health Center at Indian Hills Elementary School. She is part-time on the leadership team, serving now her second term. Before her ministry with One World, Sr. Mary Kay was a professor at Creighton's School of Nursing.
