Today’s readings and Gospel speak of birth, death and rewards.
Reflect on the woman who received a reward from God for being kind to Elisha. She had to be overwhelmed since she had accepted the fact that she would never have a child.
Reflect on our own selves knowing that we will need to die to be with God for eternity. That is a reward in itself. We never have to fear death when we know the outcome!
Reflect on loving and following God. It might seem simple as we hear and read about God’s love and forgiveness, but in reality it will take love for others, determination, and many more good aspects of our lives to accomplish this.
