Do you need prayer for yourself, someone you love, or a special intention? The Notre Dame Sisters can help.

Many of the Sisters make praying for the needs of others a primary ministry, and spend hours each day in prayer. All the Sisters devote time each day to pray for the needs of the world and especially for those who have been entered into the Prayer Association.

What is the Prayer Association, and what does it do?

The Prayer Association exists to assure that in a formal and perpetual way the Notre Dame Sisters will pray for a person.
A beautiful card is sent to the person who has been enrolled in the Prayer Association, informing them of both your gift in their honor, and the promise of the supporting prayers of the Notre Dame Sisters.
Here are some of the reasons that a person or family might be entered into the Prayer Association:

• illness, surgery or accident
• unusual stresses in life
• tragedy or sadness
• change of job, moving, entering school
  
  

A different card is sent to a person that you enter into the Prayer Association for a happy reason. This card says openly on the front that the card is for a "Happy Occasion". Here are some reasons to enter a friend, co-worker or family member into the Prayer Association at a blessed time in their life:

• Wedding Anniversary
• Jubilee of Religious Vows
• Birthday
• Christmas Gift
• Birth of a baby
• Graduation from school or entering a new school
• Marriage
• Retirement
• Receiving a promotion

How can I enroll someone?
There are four ways that you can enroll someone in the Notre Dame Sisters Prayer Association. First, gather the information that will be needed:
1. Your name and address
2. The full name of the person or group for whom you wish the Notre Dame Sisters to pray
3. the reason for the entry, so that the "special need" card or the "happy occasion" card can be sent as appropriate
4. The full name and address of the designated recipient of the card announcing your gift.

You may then email this information to prayer@notredamesisters.org and then send your donation to the address below.
You can fax this information to (402) 455-3974, and then send your donation to the address below.
You can call the main Notre Dame number from 8:00 a.m. through 4 p.m. Central Time at (402) 455-2994, and ask for the Development Office; after giving the necessary information over the telephone, you can mail your donation to the address below.
