An endowment is a permanent fund that preserves the gift while generating income for a specified need. A donor of the Notre Dame Sisters has established an endowment to meet the health care needs of the Sisters. Donors can give a gift that perpetually earns income to be used for the benefit of the health and care of the Sisters.
