Planned Giving

There are a variety of options available to an individual interested in making a planned gift to the Notre Dame Sisters. If you embrace the importance of the ministries of the Sisters and would like to become a part of the Notre Dame Sisters' legacy, ensuring future sustainability of the organization, then please read below to see how you can help today.

Each of you has a number of financial and charitable goals, and a planned gift option can provide a means to meet both. A planned gift includes any gift that requires careful financial planning. These can include major gifts that are given now, as well as future gifts – gifts that are established now, with the proceeds of the gift going to the Sisters later.

Planned gifts can come in the form of a bequest in your will, a charitable gift annuity, adding the Sisters as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account, a gift of securities, real estate and much more. No matter the giving vehicle you select, the staff at Notre Dame Sisters is here to help you and work with your advisors along the way.

If you would like more information on how to make a planned gift to the Notre Dame Sisters, please contact Dennis Henkenius in the Advancement Office at 402.455.2994.

Mother Qualberta Heritage Society

motherqualberta2The Notre Dame Sisters have recently revamped our planned giving program. We honor those individuals who have made provisions for the Notre Dame Sisters in their estate plans in the Mother Qualberta Heritage Society. This respected group of individuals embraces the importance of the ministries of the Sisters and has become part of the Notre Dame Sisters' legacy, ensuring future sustainability of the organization. Members of the Heritage Society have made the Sisters aware of their intentions for leaving a planned gift. After members of the Heritage Society pass away, their legacy gift lives on in the Legacy Association.

This group will gather annually as the Sisters honor them for their commitment to their legacy. The Heritage Society will also be featured throughout the year in publications and communications from the Advancement Office. The Notre Dame Sisters respect that some would like to remain anonymous to the public after leaving a planned gift to the Sisters, and make arrangements for this once they are aware of their wishes. The Notre Dame Sisters thank each of you who have already graciously joined the Heritage Society, and we encourage others to consider this meaningful gift that provides a critical source of strength and sustainability for the organization.
